The implementation of the Specialist Graduate Professional Study in Optometry project was originally supposed to last until 12 April 2020. The e-learning platform containing the implemented course materials was developed and was meant to be tested and evaluated by 15 lecturers and 30 students, in order to complete the project with success. The implementation of final activities was planned for late March 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica cancelled all physical classes and organized online classes. Considering the fact that the testing of e-learning has to be conducted in the physical presence of students and lecturers for technical reasons, a request was sent to the competent project monitoring agency to extend the project activities and thus the entire duration of the project. The competent Agency accepted the Request and the project was extended for 8 months, that is, until 12 December 2020.
